I agree with the others, way too much work. braise and put in the Crockpot with all the seasonings and garlic. Great recipe, WAY too much work. Just brown the meat, throw in the crock pot and add the spices over it...easy!!!! A LOT of work but worth it for a special occasion. Could cut the time by braising the roast and then putting into Crock Pot and adding all ingredients.
