Asparagus with Fresh Chive Butter

I drained a can of asparagus , combined the lemon, butter and added that to the reduced liquid from the can. (in a skillet) Then I put the drained asparagus into the skillet liquid only long enough to heat. Garnished with tiny strips of lemon zest and a sprig of parsley. It was lovely to look at and delicious as a side dish to pork roast or ham slices. Mac`n cheese was a natural with this meal!!

This is a wonderful recipe that I have been making for years. The only thing I changed is that I don't add the mint because we just don't like it in out food. My extended family always asks me to make it for family gatherings. It's a keeper for life!
