Sweet-and-Sour Glazed Ham
A baked ham is the perfect centerpiece for a holiday party. This one is basted with a sweet-and-sour sauce that doubles has a sauce to pass at the table. How ever you choose to serve it, this is a surefire hit.

Cook Time: 20-30 minutes


2 cups Smucker's Apple Jelly
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 (5-to-7-pound) fully-cooked ham half
whole cloves

Preheat the oven the 325 degrees F.

Combine the apple jelly, mustard, lemon juice, and ground cloves in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Set aside.

With a small, sharp knife, score the fat on ham in a diamond design. Insert a whole clove in each diamond. Put the ham, fat side up, on rack in roasting pan. Insert meat thermometer, making sure it does not touch bone.

Bake, uncovered, until the thermometer registers 140 degrees, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Baste the ham every 15 to 20 minutes with sauce. Heat the remaining sauce to serve with the ham at the table.
