Striped Peanut Butter Fudge

2 tablespoons ground sweet chocolate or unsweetened cocoa powder, divided
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 cup evaporated milk
1 (16 oz) jar Smucker's Natural Peanut Butter or Laura Scudder's Old Fashioned Peanut Butter
1 (7 oz) marshmallow cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup milk chocolate chips

. Grease 9-inch square baking pan; sprinkle 1 tablespoon ground chocolate evenly over bottom. Set aside.

2. In large heavy saucepan combine brown sugar, sugar, butter and evaporated milk. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture reaches 238 degrees (soft ball stage) about 20 to 30 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter, marshmallow creme and vanilla until completely mixed.

3. Pour half into prepared pan; sprinkle with milk chocolate chips. Pour remaining fudge over chocolate; swirl gently to mix chocolate. Sprinkle remaining ground chocolate over swirled fudge. Cool completely. Cut into 1-inch squares.
