Baked Oysters Grand Isle

4 dozen (approximately) oysters
1 medium onion, grated
2 ribs celery, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon flour
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 teaspoon chopped parsley
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 small can (4 ounces) mushrooms, drained
cracker crumbs

Cook oysters slightly to evaporate some of the liquid; drain. Saute onion, celery and garlic in butter until tender. Add flour, stirring until smooth. Add tomato sauce, parsley, salt, cayenne, Worcestershire sauce, mushrooms and oysters. Spoon into buttered baking dish; sprinkle with cracker crumbs and dot with additional butter. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes, or until bubbly and slightly browned.
