Chicken Olive Calzones
Refrigerated pizza dough makes this recipe especially easy...the amped-up chicken, olive and cheese filling make this dish a favorite for casual gatherings or family dinners.

1 egg

1 tablespoon water

3/4 cup Pace® Picante Sauce
|
1/2 teaspoon Dried oregano leaves, crushed or 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano leaves
|
1 cup chopped cooked chicken
|
1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar cheese
|
2 tablespoons chopped pimento-stuffed olive
|
all-purpose flour
|
1 package (10 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough
|
grated parmesan cheese
|

Heat the oven to 425°F. Beat the egg and water in a small bowl with a fork. Stir the picante sauce, oregano, chicken, Cheddar cheese and olives in a medium bowl. Sprinkle the work surface with the flour. Unroll the dough on the work surface. Roll the dough into a 15 x 10-inch rectangle. Cut into 6 (5-inch) squares. Spoon about 1/4 cup chicken mixture in the center of each square. Brush the edges of the squares with the egg mixture. Fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle. Crimp the edges with a fork to seal. Place the calzones onto a baking sheet. Brush with the egg mixture. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese. Bake for 10 minutes or until the calzones are golden brown. Serve with additional picante sauce.
