Start a new Christmas tradition starting with this eggnog recipe.

6 eggs, separated
6 tablespoons sugar
1 cup bourbon
1 cup milk
2 cups heavy cream, lightly whipped
Freshly ground nutmeg

Beat eggs yolks and sugar thoroughly. Slowly add bourbon and milk. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and whipped cream. Sprinkle in nutmeg on top. A Christmas tradition in my family for generations.
